It’s the Summer solstice 1229 in York, you are all members of the Covenant of the White Rose in York.  A couple of the younger magi of the covenant and a few companions have been given the task of collecting Vis from several of the important Vis sources of the covenant that only appear on this day.  Or that was the plan…

You can’t remember what happened as you awake in what appears to be a cellar or Dungeon.
 
Note this is a revised and expanded scenario from one I wrote a couple of years ago for Grand Tribunal.  The big problem I have with ''Ars Magica'' is coming up with a drop in scenario that doesn’t require you to know 2 years of campaign backstory to understand..
