New page

Mark discovered Ars Magica after a visit to Games Fair in Reading back in the early 1990s. It was there he met "The Mad Wizard" who was at that time a storyguide for "a game about wizards". However it was not until a few months later when the same "Mad Wizard" ran Mark and a few of his friends through "The Broken Covenant of Calebais" that he was hooked.

There was then a five year period in which two long chronicles of Ars Magica followed. One set in Britain and one set in an alternate timeline from canon set in the late 800s which involved an impossible castle, the schism war and a large number of talking trees.

Now the Grand Tribunal is the only place Mark gets his Ars Magica fix. He finds this both unfortunate and a blast.
