Notes

The characters have all died and found themselves in what must surely be Purgatory. Bodiless, their abilities are rather different, for they now exist chiefly in the dimension of gravity. Their information of Earth is currency in Nova Rome, an oasis and heaving hive of swindlers in the dark. But trust is rare, and the players must solve the theft of a shell. A religious cult are the main suspects, but no-one ever leaves their settlement except chanting and marching in step...
