The Auction
William has collected a series of items from across the order to tempt players with and has agreed with the local Mercere to sell it at the new Mercere House in Bath. All covenants will receive the following letter:
Salve Sodales,
I cordially invite representatives of all covenants of the Stonehenge to participate in an auction of magical items in the Spring season of 1228. This auction will take place in the new Mercere House in Bath where I have secured rooms for all guests and a secure place for us to conduct the auction. I have acquired thirty items with a range of powers that maybe of interest to magi and look forward to selling them to your representatives
Each covenant that should send a maximum of two representatives, along with sufficient vis for their purchasing needs. The list of items for sale will be available on the day to ensure the security of the venue and the items.
Should any magi in Stonehenge wish to produce item(s) to go in the auction we will of course be delighted to take such items for sale. For details please see attached terms and conditions

Terms and Conditions
References to vis throughout are to Magical or Faerie vis only, no Divine or Infernal vis will be accepted as payment under any circumstances Terms of Purchase All prices are in vis and must be paid out of vis brought with the magi on the day Purchaser chooses art of vis used to buy House Mercere accepts no responsibility for any charges resulting from the use, sale or purchase of any items purchased in the auction
Terms of Sale
Items sold should not have any influences upon them, should only be hermetic or magical in origin and should come with a clear description detailing their powers Should the item be later discovered to have any malign influences on it the covenant that the maker belongs to will be liable for a return of the vis gained to the purchaser, dealing with any malign influences out of their own pocket and any breaches of the Code occurring as a result of the malign influences. Each item is sold separately unless it is a batch of charged items
A reserve may be placed on an item, if the item fails to meet the reserve it will be returned to the maker You can’t specify the type of vis it must be paid for with
The vis gained from sale of any item will be passed to representatives of the covenant at the auction and they may then use it to purchase items themselves. Any arrangements for individual magi gaining recompense should be made with your sodales prior to auction. Each lot should be accompanied by a 1 pawn of vis fee to House Mercere for the auction and is non refundable.
