A list of games will appear here over the next few months, and ticket holders will be able to sign up to those games. Games will typically fit into either a 2-hour slot, or a 3-hour slot. The programme page will list the timing of those slots.
Right now you can see a list of Story Guides who will be running those games.

Signing Up For Games
We have tried all manner of approaches, and last year we trialled elaborate online sign ups. The problem sis most of you are too busy to sign up for a game until the day, and then you might change your mind or we might have mixed up sheets or --
So relax. You sign up for games on the day. We shall have sign up sheets available in the morning for each days games, and if you want to play in one just put your name down. There will be spaces in games, there always are, and if you want to play in a very popular game and it's full just ask nicely and maybe the Storyguide will run it again in a later slot, as I think Anders did last year?
Take it easy. Just show up, play games, have fun :)
There is one exception - the Freeforms. It is vital that you sign up for these in advance, and if you have never played one before we strongly advise you play 1215 & all that! just for fun and to get to know people. Just drop CJ a line at chrisjensenromer@hotmail.com if you woyuld like to play in it or An Invitation to Dinner.

The Freeforms
The freeform is traditionally the first game played on Saturday morning, and involves almost everyone. This year in a break from tradition we have two freeforms, and you are welcome to play in both, one or neither. In a freeform game you dress up and act out your role, moving around the room. This is a lot of fun, and rather rules light! You do need to sign up in advance for these games - just drop CJ a line at chrisjensenromer@hotmail.com

- Free bulk printing service : Double-sided A4 and booklet colour laser printing done in advance for anyone running a game.
- Media:Arm5-template-characters.pdf : Five template characters taken directly from the Ars Magica 5th Edition ruleset. Includes Bjornaer, Bonisagus, Flambeau, Merinita and Tytalus. The Bonisagus template has been tweaked from the ruleset original, in order to act as a healer. One character per 2 sides of A4. The second side is optional and merely includes a detailed summary of what each of the characters' spells do. These are low-level characters, ideal for introductory games or beginner players, or as fall-back pre-generated characters for use in short games, such as at conventions. Compiled and edited by Andrew Oakley for Ars Magica Grand Tribunal UK convention 2012.
- Also available is Media:Arm5-template-characters.doc , the editable Microsoft Word document that is the source for the PDF.
- Media:Arm5-simple-character-sheet.pdf : Pitt Murman's excellent simplified Ars Magica 5th Edition blank character sheet. Compressed down to two sides of A4, this not only saves paper, but is easier to navigate around than the 4-page official character sheets.

The lazy way is to simply email the document to Andrew Oakley and ask him to do it for you.

Valid file types are: .PDF .DOC .DOCX .TXT .PNG .JPG .GIF .SVG . Contact Andrew Oakley if you want to upload other types.
- Log in or create an account
- Click Upload, listed under Toolbox on the left of any wiki page, and upload your file
- That will create something like: File:Test-word2000.doc
- Go to the page you wish to add the file to, then click Edit at the top-right of that page
- Link to the file using the Media: tag:

- ...which will produce:

On a British keyboard, you will usually find | (the pipe symbol, a straight vertical line) as shift-backslash, located to the left of the Z key. The square brackets [ ] are usually found to the right of the P key.
