Earlier rulings: 1208 -

• No covenant may put more than a reasonable amount of magically created silver into circulation in a year. A reasonable amount is two pounds per resident of the covenant, whether magus or mundane.

Notes from the Grand Tribunal of 1228:

• Apprentices must now learn Greek and Arabic, other magi are requested to learn it by the next Grand Tribunal.
• 15 year apprenticeship is 15 years not 15 seasons of teaching.
• Gifted magi that are nobility may swear fealty to mundane lords.

1230 -

• Covenants cannot swear allegiance to a mundane authority.
• Stonehenge covenant has ownership of the White Oak of Savernake Forest vis source.

• Apprentices may be fostered, as the Bonsiagus tradition by any magi in the Tribunal.
• Stonehenge will adopt the Titles of Archmage and Master as per the traditions of the Rhine Tribunal.
  • To qualify as a Master a member of the order must present letters from 3 existing masters who are not of the same house or covenant.
  • To qualify as an Archmage, the challenging Magi must succeed at challenging an existing archmage at a task set by the Archmage.

• Covenants are permitted to extend protection to Hedge Wizards within their sphere of influence.
  • Members of the Order of Hermes may not molest those Hedge Wizards without consultation with the covenant.
  • House Mercere will collate a list of those Hedge Wizards who are protected as such.
  • The Covenant is responsible for all their Hedge Wizards behaviour and any breach of the Code of Hermes those Hedge Wizards perform.
  • Members of the Order are allowed to defend themselves if attacked by a Hedge Wizard. In any dispute Hedge Wizards will be considered in the same manner as vis sources.

• With regard Magi in the Order to non residents of the Tribunal:
  • Magi not of Stonehenge must depart Stonehenge when asked explicitly by a Stonehenge magi to do so, unless a greater number of Magi, the Presiding Quaesitor or the members of the covenant they are hosted at say otherwise.
  • In the event they leave as described above the visitor should endeavour to do so as quickly as possible, failure to do so is considered a breach of the Stonehenge Peripheral Code and a Low Crime of Failure to Leave in a Timely Manner.
  • Poor behaviour of the visitor is the responsibility of the host (if invited) who is responsible for informing the visitor of the Peripheral Code.
  • Visitors to Stonehenge Tribunal will be charged for any breaches of the Peripheral Code.
  • Banishment from the Tribunal may be considered as a punishment for any visitors breaching the Peripheral Code.
  • Any magi who have been asked to leave will be noted formally by a Stonehenge Tribunal Magi in good standing at the next Tribunal.
  • This does not supersede or replace any rights or obligations under the Code of Hermes as recognised by Grand Tribunal.

• Census of Magi in Stonehenge by House Mercere
  • Details of the Census:
    • House Mercere will conduct a Census of Magi of the Order in Stonehenge Tribunal (and only the Order Magi)
    • Central Administration (and Aberlard as Administrator) will hold the details
    • The Census will happen prior to be each Grand Tribunal to be completed by the Grand Tribunal
    • As part of the census covenants are urged (but not required) to present lists of Hedge Wizards (Hedge Wizards being those who practise magic outside the Order)

• The Covenant of Wyrms Head no longer exists
• The site of Arbour Low shall be used for the new tribunal library.
• Several Peripheral code amendments were deferred to the next Tribunal, due to an attack by the traitor Braduin which interrupted proceedings.

• The rank of Master is no longer required to take an apprentice.
• A member of the Order who has a child, shall have the sole right to apprentice or chose the parents for their child up to the age of 10. Superceded only by the rights of Bonisagus.In the event of a dispute the right will fall to the Mother.
• The Dragon known to others as Cytarrul is a registered magical resources of Yarmouth Covenant.
• Before gauntleting an apprentice, the apprentice's mind needs to be searched by their parens or a trusted friend to see if they are a threat to the Order or if they have any other identities. The person performing the inquisition can be held liable if they were negligent in this.
• Magi attempting to join the Stonehenge Tribunal must first consent to lowering their parma in order to be questioned as to whether they have broken the code of Hermes in the Past under Frosty Breath of the Spoken Lie.
• A new Covenant shall exist on the site of the Covenant of Arcam in North England.
• Clement ex Mercere is recognised as the head Librarian of Arbour Low.
